General purpose of the position:

To ensure smooth logistical support for ESCOM’s activities and facilitate the onboarding and integration of new citizen scientists across the Eastern Shore.

Potential duties for the position:

• Support the coordination of logistics for field visits.
• Maintain inventory of monitoring equipment and materials of each coastal climate team.
• Manage the process of welcoming, training, and integrating new community members.
• Support community-based workshops and event logistics.
• Help track volunteer engagement and participation.

Specific skills needed for this position:

•  Problem-solving and multitasking abilities.
• Strong communication and welcoming attitude.
• Basic project or event logistics experience.
• Capable of working independently and collaboratively.
• Bonus: familiarity with the geography of the Eastern Shore and field visits experience.

Time commitment:

• Up to three hours per week when no field visits or events are organized.
• Up to three extra hours per week when field visits or events are organized
